Is online gambling legal in my country?
Throughout the Middle East, most betting sports, online casinos, and gambling sites are illegal. If in some countries, it’s legal, it has heavy restrictions for locals to play there; these are only for foreign visitors and locals may not join in the fun. The countries of the Middle East that have legitimated gambling include Egypt, Iran, Bahrain, Algeria, Kuwait and Jordan.
If we talk about UAE, the local and federal emirate laws prohibit all sorts of gambling, either land-based or online. However, in Saudi Arabia, the situation is quite different! There’s a ban on state-licensed casinos, poker rooms, or any physical betting platform. Saudi gamblers can safely access the online licensed casinos to fulfill their desire.
Moreover, the state has passed the bill to allow online gambling the same way any other type of gambling is legalized in the US. In Europe, there is no sector-specific legislation in the gambling field; most EU countries allow online gambling; however, others allow only some types of casino games.
